CARTON ERECTOR:
Carton erectors are used in automated or semi-automated carton/case packaging processes. Its main function is to erect (unfold) the cardboard box and seal the bottom flaps so that it is ready for packing. There are semi-automatic and fully automatic carton erectors. Using a semi-automatic case erector requires an operator to position the box manually and remove it from the machine after the process is done. Using a fully automatic case erector is however a different story. The fully-auto machine does not require manual operation. It feeds the cardboard box to the erector from a magazine and positions the box automatically, which grants higher efficiency to the packing process.
A cartoning machine or cartoner, is a packaging machine that forms cartons: erect, close, folded, side seamed and sealed cartons.
It’s About the Case Square Cases! ses! No Jams! Square cases are the key to successful secondary packaging. Case Erectors are the key to square re cases. Why Square Cases Matter Square cases pack better, stack better, and protect better. They provide the structural integrity to deliver the performance their designer intended. Fact: cases lose 30% of their stacking strength if their sides are not aligned. Case Erectors Make Square Cases From the moment a blank enters the magazine until it exits the case erector as a properly formed and bottom sealed case, it is under complete control. There are barriers to erecting square cases. Thinner corrugated, temperature and humidity changes, and variations in case blanks can cause cases to be “un squared” or lead to machine jams. Case Erectors overcome these barriers through precise case management and 100% control of cases throughout the entire erecting process, ensuring your cases perform as designed and are produced with maximum efficiency. Square cases work better! 90 o Angles on all four sides! A unique pickup frame pulls the case from the magazine and forces it to open so it is square. The flaps are folded before the case moves, making it rigid and locking in its “square ness.” A pusher bar, parallel to the rear wall, delivers it to spring-loaded side belts, which move in or out to compensate for variations in width, and carry it over the sealing device.
Cartooning machines or cartoners are packaging systems which erect, close and fill sealed cartons. In essence, they pick up a flat carton (known as a blank), erect it into a rectangular shape, push the product into the carton (or fill it through a vertical flow), and close the carton via end flaps or a fold-over lid.
Cartooning machines are also known as cartoner is a type of packaging machine that aims in forming cartons. The cartons made from the cartooning machine stands up straight, closed and are folded, side seamed and finally, they are sealed.
DRUM PALLETIZER:
The palletizing system to optimize materials flow systems. The handling system, solves the familiar problems faced by all companies which have to load Plastic or metal drums onto pallets in particular at filling plants. The palletizing system provides an economical and cost-effective method. The drum palletizer is a fully automated system. Varying quantities of Plastic and metal drums can be transferred from one pallet to another without any damage, thus optimizing operational processes.
The handling system solves the familiar problems faced by all companies which have to load synthetic or metal drums onto pallets – in particular in the chemicals industry or at other filling plants. The palletizing system provides an economical and cost-effective method. The drum palletizer is a fully automated system tailored to customers’ requirements. Varying quantities of synthetic and metal drums can be transferred from one pallet to another without any damage, thus optimizing operational processes.
- Cost-effective, fully automated palletizing of synthetic and metal drums
- Careful handling of drums thanks to gentle transfer
- Suitable for a variety of pallet types
- Suitable for a variety of arrangement patterns
- More competitively priced than a robotic palletizer
- Manual handling of drums is no longer required
Drums are picked up by the palletizing system. Conveyors move a pallet from the pallet magazine to the corresponding position in the drum palletizer. Sliding plates extend over the pallet, allowing the drums to be moved without any risk of danger or damage. The sliding plates are pulled out from under the drums once the synthetic or metal drums have been pushed onto them. Drums are hold in position during this procedure. The drums have reached their final position on the pallet and loaded pallet can be removed from the system. The next palletizing sequence can begin.
- Move in of the drums
- Move in of the pallet
- The sliding plates are extended
- Pushing of the drums
- Drums are moved in again
- Drums are pushed again
- Retraction of the sliding plates
- Removal of the pallets
This palletizer is especially designed to pick up drums on pallet automatically, which includes drum feed-in conveyor, auto palletizing grimp hand, lifting unit, release unit, pallet dispenser, and full pallet discharge conveyor.
