Pune Machine Tool Expo 2026 and FACTEQ 2026 inaugurated in Pune, showcasing advanced manu-facturing technologies and emerging industry opportunities
Pune Machine Tool Expo (PMTX) 2026 along with co-located show on Factory Equipment – FACTEQ 2026, organised by Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) was inaugurated today at Pune Interna-tional Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, Pune.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Deependra Singh Kushwah, I.A.S., Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation; Dr. Kadambari Balkawade, I.A.S., Development Commissioner (Indus-tries), Government of Maharashtra; Mr. Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman, Tata AutoComp Systems Limited; and Mr. Nalinikanth Gollagunta, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra and Executive Director, Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited.

Speaking about IMTMA’s decision to organise the expo at Pune, Ms. Kelkar said, “Maharashtra has one of India’s strongest machine tool ecosystems with important industrial clusters located in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik and Kolhapur. Pune being one of the strong base for automotive and engineering companies, it demands a huge amount of high precision manufacturing technologies which are catered by the machine tool industry. IMTMA has a strong presence in Maharashtra with around 180 members and for last two decades, the Association has been extending support to industries through various initiatives.”
Adding to Ms. Kelkar’s views, Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO – IMTMA said, “Pune being a stronghold for various manufacturing industries, IMTMA is organising PMTX and FACTEQ to reach out to the manufacturing community in the region. The shows are growing significantly with every edition, and we are seeing a great enthusiasm from both manufacturers and users of machine tool.”
